Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you buy from calveruni.shop.
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms apply to every order placed on calveruni.shop. Please read them before you order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
calveruni.shop is run by CALVERUNI, a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom (not a limited company). Address: 106 Spencer Road, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 2BE, United Kingdom. Email: support@calveruni.shop. Telephone: +44 7857 719669. Full details are on our Legal Information page.
2. Who can buy
Our shop is for consumers aged 18 or over buying for personal use. We deliver to the United Kingdom, the European Union, Norway, Switzerland and the United States.
3. Products
We describe each piece as accurately as we can, with its materials, size in millimetres and weight. Photographs show the design; small variations in colour between screens, and small variations in enamel between pieces, are normal. Settings and props in lifestyle photographs (for example plates, books or clothing) are not included unless the description says so.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency of your delivery country and include the currency code. No UK VAT is added to our prices at checkout. Delivery costs are shown before you pay. For deliveries outside the UK, import VAT, customs duties and carrier fees are not included and are paid by the recipient (see Shipping & Delivery). We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Your payment is taken when you place the order. Any promotion will state its own terms where it is offered.
5. How the contract is made
Our shop is in English, and the contract is concluded in English. You can check and correct your order before you press Place order and pay. Pressing that button is an offer to buy, with an obligation to pay. We confirm receipt of your order by email straight away; the contract is made when we send you that order confirmation. We keep a record of your order, and the order confirmation email contains its details and these terms by link; please keep it. If we cannot accept your order (for example if an item is unavailable), we will tell you and refund any payment immediately.
6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch within 1–3 working days. Estimated delivery times are on the Shipping & Delivery page. The goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you or to someone you name. If we have not delivered within 30 days of the contract, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
7. Your right to cancel
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel without giving a reason. How it works, the model form and the exceptions are in our Returns & Cancellation policy. You can also cancel online with our withdrawal form.
8. Faulty goods and your legal rights
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with the contract. If you are in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you a 30-day right to reject faulty goods, then rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. If you are in the EU, the statutory legal guarantee applies for at least two years from delivery. Consumers in Denmark have a two-year right to complain (reklamationsret). These rights cannot be limited by these terms.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods. We are not responsible for business losses, as our products are for personal use.
10. Product safety
Our jewellery contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 3. It is not a toy. Our porcelain dishes are decorative and not for food or drink. See Product Safety.
11. Intellectual property
Our patterns, photographs, texts and logo belong to CALVERUNI. Please do not copy them without our permission.
12. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@calveruni.shop; we will reply within two working days and try to put things right. We are not a member of an alternative dispute resolution scheme and are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Consumers in the EU may also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country for advice.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this page when you placed it.
