About this piece
A pair of two gold-plated hair slides, each with a white enamel oval decorated with a cobalt swallow in flight.
Small round songbirds in the style of an old plate border: one bird at a time, perched on a twig or out in flight. Sold as a set of two, to wear together or share.
The frame is 316L stainless steel with 18K gold plating, and the pattern is in cobalt and white enamel. Plating can soften with daily wear over time; taking pieces off before water and perfume keeps the colour longer.
